AW 19/20 in Gentleman Store

The brand new collection of John & Paul shirts, for which again I’ve been the lucky one who had the pleasure to represent them in initial photo shooting for the whole collection.

While the Summer collection last year was indeed summer one with linen pieces and white striped motifs this winter collection is full of exciting pieces in a completely different way. Some of them seem classic, and some might appear to be a little bit old fashioned. All of them done in comfortable a breathable cotton. Let’s see some pieces, which, in my opinion, deserves to be highlighted.

Blue pinstripe shirt is one of my favourite shirts. It may create an incredibly good looking formal outfit with a bold suit. However, I chose a relaxed winter option. Wool coat with faux fur collar, white cotton chinos and blue suede sneakers.

If you take a closer look, you’ll see a structure on the crisp white shirt. Small cubes are present here, creates an old fashioned yet exciting look for separates. I decided to take this one with a brown silk tie, wool pinstripe trousers with winter wool socks and tan loafers. Thanks to the double-breasted wool jacket with a plain white handkerchief, the look is completed.

Here we come with my absolute favourite piece of the collection. This shirt seems a classic British style. Whether combination will be with Fairisle sweater, wool jacket, tweed suit or Barbour jacket you won’t miss. Just look how stunning is this shirt with a red knitted silk tie.

The checked dark shirt is the last piece we have today. As I like to have it casually, I’m still thinking about how amazing it could be to have this shirt with dark grey suiting. What do you think? Would you go for it?
